Transliteration is the process of converting text from one script to another. For example, "amma" is the English transliteration of the Telugu word meaning "Mother." With a transliteration scheme, you can type Telugu script using a standard QWERTY layout English keyboard.

Rice Transliteration Scheme (RTS) is a widely used transliteration scheme for writing Telugu using English alphabets. This app provides a QWERTY layout English keyboard specifically designed for typing Telugu script using Rice Transliteration Scheme (RTS). RTS is known for being the most user-friendly and efficient transliteration scheme for writing Telugu. Available on both iPhone and iPad devices, this app features a custom keyboard that allows you to type in Telugu across various iOS applications such as Messages, Notes, Email, Calendar, and Safari. It is also compatible with third-party apps like Facebook and Twitter that support custom keyboards for text input.

With Transliteration by Word, every time you tap the space bar or return key, the text is converted into Telugu script. Once you finish typing a word in English letters, simply press the space bar to convert it into Telugu script.

The Transliteration of Clipboard Text feature allows you to convert text directly from your clipboard. To use this feature, you need to grant the keyboard "full access" permission. Simply copy the desired text into your clipboard, then tap on this tool. You will be amazed to see the English text in your clipboard transformed into Telugu script, and vice versa. This tool is especially helpful for individuals who cannot read Telugu. If you receive a message in Telugu script, simply copy it into your clipboard and use this tool to read the message content in Transliterated English words.
